My gran's 80 this year, so I thought I'd make her an extra special present. Seeing as she loves it when she gets to see things my sister and I have made, I thought I'd make her a scarf! Silk dyes were a favourite technique to use for my linings this year at uni, so I bought some of my own and have used them. I took a picture of the process as I wanted to share the awesome pattern created. I'd layed down plastic bags to protect the tables surface, and as the silk had gotten wet, it had drooped a little and stuck to the plastic creating this! I'm hoping the dyes dry like that as I really like it.
